Thursday, October 4, An evening on the water.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Today we spent much of the day in the Van Gogh museum, and they don’t allow photos in most of the space, so we left the cameras in the apartment!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This evening, we booked a dinner cruise on the canals in a boat nearly 100 years old. This isn’t really a canal tour, as they make a point of saying in their literature, it’s “dinner on a boat” – and it’s a very good dinner at that. They cruise the canals for about 3 hours, putting in at restaurants along the way to have the courses delivered – no real cooking on the boat. It was a great way to have a relaxing evening and get a sort of orientation to the canals and the city. Only a few shots from this one, as we were busy eating!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
