Monday, October 1, 2018, day three.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today we found a nice little hole-in-the-wall breakfast place called Chez Lorraine – where we had a great breakfast served by Lorraine herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then we walked over to The Amsterdam Museum, which traces the history of the city – seemed like a good place to start to get a historical overview before heading out to the more specific museums. (Although, as noted before, we did hit the Rijksmuseum first on Sunday, as it was well organized for getting the museum passes sorted and it is pretty close to the apartment.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum was interesting and informative – more multimedia exhibits and story telling with actual artifacts, paintings and odds and ends sprinkled throughout.  Photos from our wandering through the city are below!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
