Siamo partiti per una crociera Viking Ocean da Bergen, in Norvegia, a Stoccolma, in Svezia. (In English: We set off on a Viking Ocean cruise from Bergen, Norway to Stockholm, Sweden. On the flight from Milano to Amsterdam, we had Business class to ourselves.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Day 1 was really just doing the boarding and checking in to the room. After we were checked in and our luggage arrived in the room, we walked downtown so we could buy some sweaters – we realized we’d underestimated the weather a bit, and we wanted to be ready for the various excursions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On day 2 of the cruise, still docked in Bergen, we took a nice 6.3km hike up the mountain to get a view of Bergen from above, and continued on to a local farm for a tour and lunch. We like to book these shore excursions that are listed as “demanding” or “moderate” exercise, because they inevitably are smaller than the ones that are just bus tours, and with a more interesting group of people. This group was about 12 total. Downside is that some of these excursions wind up being cancelled because somehow, out of 1000 people on the ship, there aren’t enough who are willing (or to be fair, able) to walk very far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
